A long time ago, in an office in San Diego....

I joined the SWG Team as the Beta-Forum Tech Support Rep. It was fun and the community was very passionate and excited about this brand spanking-new game. It was a great opportunity to work with a community formed around a common interest that was a big part of my childhood life (of course, I mean Star Wars). Soon after the game released I had the opportunity to join the SWG Team as a Community Representative and jumped at the chance.

I got to join Jessa, Snayykin, Xahn and of course, Q3P0. We had fun, got to give out a bunch of pie and of course some vacations to Fantasy Island (that’s what we called suspensions back then). On top of that, I had the opportunity to entertain and engage the community. It wasn't always easy but it was always worth the effort. Things like the Galactic Homeshow, The Puzzler, various forum contest and titles made the day-to-day forum grind less like work and more like a party.

Now, like those before me, an opportunity has presented itself that I can't refuse, and as a result…today is my last day on the SWG Forums. I will always remember certain events that made me laugh or smack my hand to my forehead (like when the notorious Tofu figured out how to plaster an image over the whole forum page ).I will remember the jokesters, the leaders, and the misbehaver's that made every day unique. There were times when I wanted to scream (yikes- everyone can see the hidden forums!), times when I wanted to laugh (oh no they didn’t just post that!) and times when I REALLY wanted to pull my hair out (fortunately for me it's shaved off).Through it all, though, I always enjoyed my job.

If there was one thing I would like everyone in the community to do before I go, it would be to look around at the various names on the forums. There are probably a good bunch of them that you know or at least recognize. Some of these people are your friends, some are not, but they are all part of your community and no matter what changes (good or bad) that have occurred to the game, they are there with you, being supportive, making it alright.... and if you’re lucky, they always will be.

Hello all dear friends here is proposition for 30th Anniversary Party.

THIS IS NOT FINAL VERSION!

This is only sugestion what can you expect on that day. Now since this is really BIG thing to organise all help is welcome. Once we set all here I will make letter that will be distributed to all guild leaders and players.


MEGA EVENT - STAR WARS 30th Aniversary Party

Name of Event: Star Wars 30th Aniversary Party

Description: Big Chimaera party in honor of 30th years of Star Wars, it is server wide event that gathers together role players, PvPers, pet lovers, lovers and all other palyers in one HUGE party.
*Names of organisers for specific part of event will be listed below in [brackets]

TIME SCHEDULE

14:00 - Gathering in front of Jabbas palace, Ceremony where Jabba will Greet people from Wayfar and give his blessing to Fair that is about to begin in Wayfar.
*(roleplayers needed to play Jabbas guards [original outfits needed], also all Bounty Hunters and Smuglers are especialy welcome, all players PLEASE COME WEARING CLOTHES NOT ARMORS)

14:30 - Wayfar; Droid and Pet fair. All decent Droid enginers, including Jawa Droid Master Het Nikki, will be there presenting their latest models of droids. Also big Pet fair is opened, where variour Beast Master from all over Outer Rim will show new tricks and their best combat capabilities of their Pets. After fair, walk to Anchorhead
**(Droid Enginers, and future Beast Masters come to Wayfar, do your business there, since we are all limited to call only ONE pet at the time we will need lot of people with diferent Droids and pets so new players can really see what al can be done in SWG)

15:30 - Ancorhead, Imperial ambush (small PvP Event), after battle walk/ride on pets, speeders and all other transports to Eisley.

I suggest two camps with recruiters and cloning facility and place for entertainers. if you guys both Imperial and Rebel can organise this battle like some sort of event it would be great; story module: Big rebel gathering at Anchorhead and than sudden Imperial Ambush, Guild leaders of Active PvP guilds please help in this part)

16:00 - Mos Eisley Cantina, Party with best Entertainers and some of the worst scumm of the Galaxie.

18:00 - Yavin IV - Old Massassi Temple - Alliance Parade

19:00 - Space race all the way to Corellia in single and multiplayer ships. Finish in Coronet cantina.

This will be free for all space race just for fun, so you can join with your single or multy player ship [waypoints soon to be added] Due to thehnical issues we might organise start at 19:15 from all 3 starports on YavinIV, because if lot of plazers want to launch in space, horible lag could happend [Proposition: Imperial pilots use Imperial Base, Rebels use Mining outpost, and Neutral pilots use Labour outpost] Please do not cheat with launch time and if it is posible use POB ships > more fun)

20:30 - Space race winners announced in Coronet cantina

- Image designers free for all, this is just a sugestion let people have fun with their look...
- Storyteller: I dont know what will we have at our disposal, what will we be able to do, but if you want to place actor somwhere on the road who will tease, chat or flirt with players, just do it
- Renatals: We all know what can be donw with it, use it, place them on the Vreni island, on Tattoine, make some decorations, make our world alive.
- PEX: I am not sure do we need to call him (maybe as a guest) since at this time we dont know what Storyteller will offer us.

Storryteller je luda opcija u igri, nevjerojatno koliko mogučnosti su dodali, idite na TC, u Bestine pokraj Image Designer tent je Storyteller vendor.

ja sam probo peta nekog napravit al nejde... kod blue frogova nema incubatora a poprilicino ih je tesko napravit:/

jucer spremam se za base bustning u kaadri ubim se i clonam u theedu da se buffam u cantini, ono kantina prazna i tako ja sa clone sicnes bez broda odlucim se ubit ponovo i clonat u kaadri, odem do sp u theedu i tam neki lik i duelam ga i kazem da me ubije, dva shoota dalje on me ubije i uzme moj bounty za 40k, ono mislim kazem liku koji ima moj bounty da me ubije, no dobro
odem do eisleya i buffam se na 5:30 sati, vratim se na bb i idem cistit baze sam i ono npc me db-aju
no dobro proso sam i preko toga, ekipa za bb se skupila ono nekih 30 impova i dok se mi dogovaramo gdje je smuggler za bb nalete 50 rebela i sljedeca 2 sata nas masakriraju tak da smo uspijeli od 9 baza unistit 1
al i to bi bilo dobro da bb nije bio u 6 sati i da ja nisam cekao 6 sati za njega

Evo opisa moje:
old TC - lik Klamath - lvl 90 BH.
Krenem prema Corelliji da bi odradio novi Rebel theme park. Putem pokupim još jednog lvl 90 Spya, i tak omi krenemo. Prva misija, sve u redu, run and deliver, vraćamo se C3PO-u i uzimamo misiju broj 2 tu se već dalo naslutiti da sve i nije kako izgleda. Slećemo u Theed obojca combatanti, loadamo se a ono masakar, napadaju nas lvl 92 silver elite commander i lvl 99 dark trooper, 30 sec i mi smo incap, obojca. Ok, nije bad, sadće vidjeti oni...Fokusiramo paljbu na commandera i skidamo ga, ne bez gubitaka, ali živi smo. Kraćemo na lvl 99 tropera ja sam incapan on ga na kraju uspjeva savladati. DRAMA.

Ponosni nakon gadne bitke odlazimo na mjesto gdje trebamo pokupiti dokumente. Ulazimo u malu bazu (neki novi tip) i krenemo, protivnici silver elite lvl 85, bilo je to ko čišćenje neprjateljskog teritorija, korak po korak, bitka i pol, poslije 15 ak min borbe uspjeli smo očistiti bazu i doći do podataka.

Povratak do C3PO-a, nagrada 81k Xp i 200 GCW points, nije loše, ohrabreni uzimamo drugu misiju, i krećemo. približavamo se mjestu susreta, razgovaramo s nekim NPC-jem. I krećemo u napad, ali ova baza za razliku od prve ima vani stražu 3 komada silver elite lvl 85. Lukavo ih skinemo i uđemo, a kad ono unutraprava baza a nas dvojca moramo naći 3 dokumenta, krenuli smo polagano i nismo ušli ulegendu, poslije polovice počele su drame i obojca smo poginuli.

Mogu reči samo jedno:

SWG as I know it from before CU is BACK.

Sad će te vidjeti zašto je elder populacija bila toliko luda.

ja jos uvijek radim na petu, nabavio sam incubator al sad trebam neke enzyme koje je jos teze nabavit... uglavnom dobit peta ce bit poprlicino tesko

EDIT: odlicna vijest! upravo sam nabavio sve enzyme i ostalo ptorebno za peta! jurim natrag u kucu napravit svog prvog peta u nge

EDIT2: evo, jos samo 1 dan i 20 sati i moj pet je gotov. bit ce zelena faamba, nadam se samo da ce bit velka ko u pre nge

omg ovo traje fakat dugo... ja sam mislio da ce sve zajedno bit 1 dan a zapravo svaki od 3 expermentation sessiona traje 1 dan

jos 23 sata i onda je stvarno gotovo. nadam se da ce i pet mutirat

eto i mene opet na 14 dana(za kojih pol sata kad se poskidaju pačevi od godinu i kusir kolko nisam bio tu), pošto daju starim borcima for freepa da vidimo kolko se to promjenilo i dali valja opet na staru slavu =D

iime mu je Biggie. ima manji damage ali zato veci armor. voli se borit protiv monstera ali ne protiv humanoida. omiljeni planet mu je mustafar a najmanje omiljeni dantooine ( na zalost )

Bok škvadro!

Zanimljive novosti u igri, bas me zanima kako ce se sada stvari razvijati. No ipak me jedno muci sto se tice petsa... Dali su uveli novu profesiju BIO Engineer ili svi mogu experimentirati na svojim ljubimcima? Prije je samo creature handler mogao imati svoj pet, a bio engineeringom se mogao baviti samo... bio-engineer... sto je cinilo profesije raznovrsnijima i interesantnijima, a i smanjivalo mogucnost da svatko npr. trci naokolo sa svojom zivotinjicom. Kao sto su prije samo najuproniji mogli biti Jedi a danas to moze biti svtako. To je unistilo donekle car igre pa me zanima dali je ovo jos jedan takav slucaj.

Bilo kako bilo imam jos mjesec dana garanciju da ce mi YpSan biti sacuvan kakv jest i ako se odlucim vratiti u igru to mora biti uskoro. Pratiti cu forum da procijenim isplatili se. Pozdrav!
