Isječak iz ROTS knjige u kojem se vidi da Dooku zna da su Palpatine i Sidious ista osoba.
Dooku, cringing, shrinking with dread, still findssomehopeinhis
heart that he is wrong, that Palpatine has not betrayed him, thatthishas
all been proceeding according to plan-
Until he hears "Good, Anakin! Good!Iknewyoucoulddoit!"and
registers this is Palpatine's voice and feels within the
darkest depths of all he is the approach of the words that are tocome
next.
"Kill him," Palpatine says. "Kill him now."
In Skywalker's eyes he sees only flames.
"Chancellor,please!"hegasps,desperateandhelpless,his
aristocratic demeanor invisible, his courage only abittermemory.Heis
reduced to begging for his life, as so many of hisvictimshave."Please,
you promised me immunity! We had a deal! Help
me!"
And his begging gains him a share of mercy equal to that which hehas
dispensed.
"Adealonlyifyoureleasedme,"Palpatinereplies,coldas
intergalactic space. "Not if you used me as bait to kill my friends."
And he knows, then, that all has indeed been going accordingtoplan.
Sidious's plan, not his own. This had been a Jedi trap indeed,butJedi
were not the quarry.
They were the bait.
"Anakin," Palpatine says quietly. "Finish him."
Years of Jedi training make Anakin hesitate; he looks downuponDooku
and sees not a Lord of the Sith but a beaten, broken, cringing old man.
"I shouldn't-"
But when Palpatine barks, "Do it! Now!" Anakin realizes that this isn't
actually an order. That it is, in fact, nothing morethanwhathe'sbeen
waiting for his whole life.

To be the victim of Anakin Skywalker's first cold-blooded murder.

Što se tiče Aayle, znamo da su nju ubili/neubili ARC trooperi koji znaju nekad biti problematični jer su čista kopija Janga. Možda su oni zanemarili Order 66 i stavili oružje na stun, jer osjećaju jaču obvezu prema svom zapovjedniku nego prema nekom tamo kancelaru kojeg nisu nikada vidjeli.
Naime, to je, moglo bi se reći, kvazi-kanon. Jer ništa od toga ne piše Lucas (osim par iznimaka), ali odobrava sve te knjige. One koje ne odobrava nisu priznate kao SW kanon, a ove kao jesu. No, ipak, to je kvazi-kanon, zato što se mnoge stvari ne podudaraju i možda ih Lucas ne bi tako zamislio. Ali, opet rijetki ne prihvaćaju EU, jer je mnogo toga u njemu zanimljivo. Ja prihvaćam, jer mislim da je SW EU-om dobio znatno proširenje i podlogu.
