Lightsaber VS. Phaser

For those of you who watched Clone Wars II last week I think the question as to Lightsaber VS Phaser was answered. If I remember correctly the bulk of the original discussion was about how a Jedi would be able to manipulate constant beam. Well they showed Mace Windu defelecting a beam that was constant for a good 6 to 8 seconds and wipped out everything he deflected it to.

As to the kind of power a lightsaber can take, I've seen in the comics a lightsaber take and deflect heavy blaster bolts from a cannon like an AT-AT. So I think it's safe to say it would take phaser fire pretty easily.

Why do I say this?

I know in the Star Trek Universe phasers are more powerful than lasers...

...HOWEVER...

It is my belief that in the Star Wars Universe, laser power is just as great, if not greater than phaser fire. Anytime a laser can blast through the bulkhead of a starship has got to have a strong power source. We're also talking about two completely different technologies from different galaxies. A laser to us would be nothing compared to a SW laser.

I would love to see a fanfilm of Star Wars VS Star Trek. Of course Star Wars would win

je, ovo kaj pise ima smisla i iskreno da kazem ja nisam znao da je u st svemiru phaser mocniji od lasera, ali autor teksta je cvrsto argumentirao zakaj su sw laseri mocniji od phasera.
zanimljiv nacin razmisljanja, meni tak nesto ne bi nikad palo na pamet.
a kaj se tice toga da bi jedan jedi master sj*** enterprise i to stoji, jer oni ziher ne bi iskopcali odrzavanje zivota na toj palubi di je doticni, jer bi tak ubili i masu svoje ekipe, ali mislim da bi to bio jedini moguci izlaz za enter. crew!

U jednoj epizodi TNG-a Picard kaže da laseri ne bi ni ugrijali oplatu na Enterpriseu.

Što se tiče toga bi li jedan Jedi Master uništiti cijeli brod u ST svemiru, u ST-u postoji jedna gadna opcija da oko nekoga podignu snažno energetsko polje koje mislim da ni lightsaber ne bi mogao probiti.

LS bi probio oplatu broda ili nosace force fielda

Lightsaber reže sve.I Jedan Jedi master bi mogao unistiti i dva glupa brodaa iz ST

I dignut i sebe i cijeli brod u zrak.TO bi mogao napraviti samo najinteligentiji jedi master

Ne mora nužno biti najinteligentiji, ali mora nužno biti najodlučniji da raznese odabrani brod.

Svjetlosna sablja nema šanse protiv štitova. St brodovi su bolji, imaju fazore, fotonska i kvantna torpeda. U SW se još koriste primitivni laseri.
