Ja sam ovo našao na Star Wars RP stranici, i prema tome se ravnam... Dosta je lijepo objašnjeno...
Dark Jedi
After a few millennia of study some of the Jedi students inevitably found the Dark Side of the Force. Likely others had found it before, just not recognized it for what it was. So it stands in history that the Order of the Dark Jedi arose some 2000 years after the Jedi. The original Dark Jedi were fugitives from the Jedi, shunned and run-off for their interests in the Dark arts. They were forbidden by the Jedi Council to pursue their studies and so left to be free to pursue them as they saw fit.
Though a Dark Jedi has not always been a part of the larger body of the Dark Jedi Order, surely the most powerful of them have been. Because of the dedicated study and somewhat cooperative sharing of lessons, a Dark Jedi who joined the order was much more able to grow in power than one who stayed rogue. Many people falsely think that the Dark Jedi are poorly organized with no desire for organization or leadership. Not exactly true. They are rebellious and often the leaders do not retain influence for long periods of time due to challenges for their power. But as long as the leader is the most powerful among the group they are grudgingly accepted as the leader.
The ideals of the larger body of Dark Jedi have largely been lost to obscurity through many millennia of purges and lulls in the group’s numbers. What has survived describes the Dark Jedi as vindictive, spiteful monsters bent on revenge against the Jedi for shunning them and casting them out so long ago. Though few know the true source of and reason for the lust for vengeance. The scrolls that have survived from the height of the Dark Jedi Order’s power indicate that the best Dark Jedi though always ready to fight, hold back and know when and if to fight. There is no point in seeking vengeance if the seeker dies before it is achieved.
The Dark Jedi do not seek vengeance alone, they also seek power and a recognition for their greatness. They wish for all the galaxy to praise them and serve them. Though they often lack the patience to cultivate their plans to fruition, those Dark Jedi who manage to, have given scares to many a Jedi task force. The determination to achieve their goals that lack of conscience in doing so, have wrought much pain and destruction all across the galaxy.
For a Dark Jedi Apprentice to be worthy of Knighthood, the scrolls say the apprentice must have certain qualities. Though vague on what those qualities are, they mention a lust to receive glory for their work, for what they can do with the Force. As well as a great skill with weapons and in combat, the scrolls also insist upon the ability to hold back from certain death, to swallow their pride just enough to wait until the moment is better suited to granting them success.
For a Dark Jedi Knight to become a Master, there are yet more requirements, though still vague the scrolls insist upon a strong control of their passions, and desire for vengeance, along with a devious mind constantly working to achieve the goals of the Order. The Dark Jedi Master must be an even more capable fighter than the Knights, but always know when to fight and when to hold back because the moment is not right. The first Dark Jedi to take the reins of the group wrote the Dark Jedi Code, some take it as a mockery of the Jedi Code and perhaps that was his intent, but hidden within it’s lines lie the keys to tapping untold energy spawned from the Dark Side of the Force. Again like the Jedi Code, the Dark Jedi Code is rarely written in its entirety with only a four-line excerpt serving in the stead of the larger volume. That four-line ‘Code’ is as follows:
There is no Guidance: There is Control.
There is no Unity: There is Strength.
There is no End: There is Eternity.
There is no Defeat: There is Glory.
Although this is a relatively tiny portion of the entire Code it, like the Jedi Code, provides a strong outline of what it is to be a Dark Jedi and how to be one. As with the Jedi Code, the full discussion of the excerpt is better suited to another endeavor. Dark Jedi students must remember that if they wish to fully grasp the power that lay before them, they must fully grasp the concepts of this short quatrain.
