Dune

Tražeći knjige s Dune tematikom kroz proteklih nekoliko dana naišao sam i na Dune Enciklopediju, autora dr. Willisa E. MecNellya, a u izdanju nakladničke kuće Berkley Books iz New Yorka. Kao izvrstan poznavalac materije iznesene u knjigama o Dini, autor je, između ostalog, napravio i detaljnju kronologiju. Budući da prije nisam čitao knjige iz ciklusa o postanku svemira opisanog u "Dini" (tzv. ciklus "Legend of Dune"), iznenadio sam se otkrićem kako se, ustvari događanja u "Dini" ne zbivaju u 103. stoljeću u odnosu na naše vrijeme, nego u 103. stoljeću u odnosu na osnivanje Svemirskog Ceha. U biti, od našeg vremena, do događaja prikazanih u "Dini" proteklo je oko 24 700 godina, odnosno oko 247 stoljeća. Štoviše, u Dune kronologiji, carstvo zauzima važnu ulogu. Štoviše, riječ je o svojevrsnom pralelnom svemiru, koji se od odijelio od našeg svemira u doba Aleksandra Makedonskog, čije je carstvo u svemiru Dine opstalo, a on postao prvi car.

Na svoju žalost, nisam gledao Lynchov film a ni miniseriju. A zato jesam Djecu dine, koja je nedavno bila na TV-u. Netko mi je rekao da je ta mini-serija inspirirana SW-om.

A mislim kako je Frank Herbert napisao Dinu prije no što je lucas sniumio SW, tako da može biti čak i obrnuto, da se Lucas dijelom nadahnuo Dinom.

Inspirirana Star Warsom? Nesiguran na koji nacin.
Inace meni su mnogo draze knjige od filma i mini-serija, iako bas i nisam veliki fan istih. Da ne bi bilo zabune, pricam o knjigama Franka, ne njegovog sina (kojih sam jos manji ljubitelj).

Istina. Mislim da je Dune napisan negdje 1965, a Children of Dune 1976. Dune Messiah negdje je izmedju te dvije godine.

Nisam mislio na cjelokupni serijal, nego na isključivo Djecu dine. Vjerojatno sam ja krivo napisao ili tako nešto.

Ah... Popularan topic. Dok ste vi postali ja editirao ono gore. Children of Dune je izisao 1976. Znaci dok se stvarao SW.

Od Briana H. &Co. pročitao sam ih sve osim Battle for Corrin,a od orginalnih samo Children of dune,jer ostale nigdje ne mogu naći.

Knjige su mi puno bolje od filmova. Posebno originalni Dune.

A samo gore u Search upišeš Dune i nađeš za 5 minuta.

Našao sam Dune,mislio sam na stvari koje već par mjeseci pokušavam nabaviti(neuspješno).Od Dune ima samo orginalne knjige i House of Atreides i Harkonenn,a Butlerian Jihad,Machine Crusade i Battle for Corrin nigdje nema.

Ima i Dune2, inače začetnik real-time strategija, ali je preteška za mene, nisam nikad došla dalje od 2 nivoa, jednostavno se sve prebrzo odvija

Sad igram Emperor:Battle for Dune.
Igra je odlična,možda je nekima grafika odbojna,al mene igri ne privuče grafika nego kvaliteta(priča,sloboda,hrpa jedinica...)S Atreidesima sam došao do zadnje misije,al je ona zaista za****na.Ne stigneš ni bazu izgraditi,već nagrnu hrpe Harkonnena i Ordosa.Nemoguće.

geezs...Dune MESSIAH sam citala za lektiru iz engleskog u 1.razdredu srednje.. trebala bi i ostale procitat da bi mogla komentirat o tome, ali film Dune mi je vrlo kewl, jedan bivsi je bio toliko uzivljen da je htio sina (kad ga bude imao) nazvat Paul..asshole.
igrica Dune2 je jedna od najboljih strategija svih vremena. Dune 2000 je lame.
